“Ferrum Ideas” Collaborated on the Installation “Uncomfortable”

Ferrum Ideas” contributed to designer Dominykas Šimkūnas’s installation “Uncomfortable,” which earned third place at the Design Days ’24 event.

The installation “Uncomfortable” challenges traditional perceptions of furniture and its role in shaping identity. Typically, furniture symbolizes comfort and coziness—social norms deeply ingrained in our subconscious. However, this installation invites a different perspective: Can furniture be cold, uncomfortable, even dangerous? Can it express its true nature instead of merely conforming to our expectations?

“Ferrum Ideas” is proud to collaborate on such unique and creative projects that inspire new perspectives and foster meaningful dialogue.
